Through my life I was always a writer. I won my first writing award when I was in second grade. Growing up I won poetry contests, and English was always my best subject. I stay home with my four year old son. Being home alone all day gives you a lot of extra time to grown and find yourself as a person. I've done extensive reach on parenting, nutrition, and cooking. I am going through a weight loss challenge, and I'm winning. For the first time since before I was a mother I feel like I am able to do anything. This is the first time in a long time I've thought about writing again. I'm hoping with some practice to write a book one day. There are many obstacles that I have overcome, not just as a parent, but in life. I feel I have knowledge that people need to/want to hear. I genuinely want to help people, and writing is the best way I know how.
